15PRAYER MATTERS

WEEKLY PRAYER UPDATES

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

-  Colossians 4:2

Remember: PRAYER MATTERS

Paul and Daphne Chapman (Venezuela, DPG Day 6)
Pray urgently for the deteriorating situation in Venezuela. Services like electricity and gas, garbage collection, internet and mobile services are limited. Pray that people can still travel to church meetings. Pray for safety and protection from protests and civil unrest.

David and Julie Ward (Philippines, DPG Day 11)
Pray for Julie as she has her operation today. Pray that she makes a full and uncomplicated recovery.

Daniel and Candide Weekes (France, DPG Day 14)
Pray for one of Dan's colleagues who was caught in an avalanche and now has a pinched nerve and may remain paralysed. Pray that Dan will have opportunities to share the living hope we have in Jesus when he goes to see him in hospital.

Wendy Strachan (Specialist, DPG Day 22)
Praise God that the community that He built during the five-week Leadership Experience have shared deeply and personally about the encouragements and challenges of ministry. Pray that, as the participants and facilitators return to their home countries and ministries, they will apply what they have learnt to their work and relationships. Thank God for those who have been spiritually healed during this transformative time.

John and Remy Tan (Specialists, DPG Day 22)
Praise God that John’s lessons from a bible storytelling workshop were useful at English conversation class. Pray for Remy as she translates Know Your Bible study guides into Tagalog — on top of her usual work in the Finance office. Pray for more volunteers to fill vacancies at Wycliffe at Kangaroo Ground.

Bruce and Angela Jenyns (Ex-Philippines, DPG Day 26)
Praise God that they have settled into life in Deception Bay, and are attending Mueller Community Church. Pray for Angela as she recovers from Ross River Fever. Pray for Bruce and Angela as they visit Samar from 14 April to 5 May. Pray that this will be an encouraging visit as they see Filipino friends again and are updated on their progress.

Keith and Bronwen Cruickshank (AMT, DPG Day 29)
Pray for them to drive safely down to Victoria and Canberra on 11 April. Pray that they can meet with all the churches that they have contacted fro this trip.
