Remember: PRAYER MATTERS
Phil and Sandy Jones (Mexico, DPG Day 5)
Pray for Sandy as she starts radiotherapy to her neck and tongue in the next two weeks. Pray that this will completely get rid of any residual cancer and that she won’t have any side effects.
Paul and Debbie Howells (Philippines, DPG Day 10)
Pray for them as they grieve the loss of their Christian Filipino friend Anelia from a severe parasitic infestation. Pray for Anelia’s family during their bereavement.
Jason and Kim Job (Timor-Leste, DPG Day 12)
Praise God for a safe time for Jason as he travelled to Cairns for meetings about being Country Director for MAF Timor-Leste. Praise God that Kim and Sam’s week was a good one too, while they remained in Dili. Pray for wisdom in decision-making about managing staff, employing new staff, and future possibilities for ministry and evangelism for the MAF team. Praise God that MAF have been able to partner with the Timorese Scripture Union to help distribute bookmarks with information about Bible reading. These have been created in local languages.
Bill and Nicoletta Quinert (Italy, DPG Day 14)
Pray for Bill and Nicoletta as they help out at the Athens refugee centre after Easter. Pray for them as they plan a home assignment from September to December. Continue to pray for the African refugees in Rome, many of whom are living in under-resourced facilities and poor conditions.
Trevor and Manoli Allan (Spain, DPG Day 15)
Praise God for the encouraging and challenging testimonies, service and messages of the Latin American team at church services, outreach events and a missions conference. Pray for an upcoming youth retreat (28-30 March), kids club (31 March) and Easter Sunday service. Pray for the timely completion of setting up the social work area and of church hall renovations.
Wendy Strachan (Specialist, DPG Day 22)
Praise God that Wendy arrived home safely after a very encouraging few weeks at the SU Leadership Experience in South Africa. Pray for the attendees to return to their countries with new perspectives, skills and enthusiasm.
Les and Kay Loader (PNG, DPG Day 17)
Praise God! The nails for the earthquake victims arrived safely by road, and most have been distributed. More than 450 families have been helped. Pray that Les will encourage the people over this Easter period as they share Good News.
