Remember: PRAYER MATTERS
Belinda and Herman Lamprecht (South Africa, DPG Day 2)
Pray for Belinda and Herman as they lost the right to adopt Zion, a young boy who was returned to his family. Pray that the Lord will comfort them during this difficult time.
Ben and Lara (NSW, DPG Day 6)
Pray for Ben and Lara as they meet with M-background believers and as they do outreach work.
Paul and Debbie Howells (Philippines, DPG Day 10)
Pray for Jubab as he awaits approval for his OMF internship in Japan. Praise God for his mission heart. Praise God for a good and safe time with Paul and Debbie. Pray for Paul and Deb as they attend medical check-ups on 2 January. Pray for Deb’s mum who is planning to relocate to WA in April. Pray that her move and the construction of her granny flat will go smoothly. Pray for Paul’s step-mum whose brain cancer is worsening. Pray for her salvation before it’s too late. Pray for the ongoing translation work — the aim is to complete the New Testament by mid-2018. Praise God for the blossoming work of church planting in the Philippines.
David and Julie Ward (Philippines, DPG Day 11)
Praise God that David had a productive time in Menti. Pray that the young church will grow as the translation work continues. Pray for good friend Sarlito, who has advanced TB. Pray for David to stay safe in Puerta Princesa after the recent stormy weather. Pray for Julie in Sydney as she waits to have a medical procedure. Pray for her mum who’s recovering from an infection that’s knocked her around. Pray for her dad who has poor circulation and dementia.
Leonie Johannesen (Fiji, DPG Day 16)
Gracie’s visa for Australia has been refused. Please pray for Leonie as she seeks advice from lawyers and migration agents — she has just returned to Australia for a short visit.
Glenn and Natalie Latham (PNG, DPG Day 17)
Pray for Glenn and Nat as they spend 2018 on the family farm in Fish Creek. Pray for them as they decide on what to do next in terms of mission service.
