Phil and Sandy Jones (Mexico, DPG Day 5)
Praise God for the 7th anniversary of RenovArte Café. Pray that the original café and the new one will continue to minister effectively to the university student population.
Ian and Leann Buckley (Nepal, DPG Day 9)
Praise God that Mahima’s kidney operation was a success — and the surgery was free! (The family only has to pay for hospital costs and medication.) Pray that she will make a full recovery and will stay cancer-free. Pray that God will be glorified through her healing, and that it will be a testimony to her village about His faithfulness and goodness. Pray for Pastor Rajan of Sankhu church as he teaches in Nepali churches in Malaysia (14-30 November). Pray for Ian, Leann and fellow believers to have ongoing freedom to minister to their community.
Paul and Gerrah Kulikovsky (Philippines, DPG Day 10)
Pray for the growth of a new work at Abejao, where 25 people attended a two-day conference recently. Pray for the Sulangan work where Karl is persevering strongly. Pray for people to stand up for Christ despite family pressure and for couples to take their long-term relationships seriously. Pray for the spiritual growth of students at Grace Christian School and the physical growth of the school in terms of renovation and reconstruction of rooms. Praise God that Paul put up new ceilings in six classrooms and the equipment room. Pray for plans to replace the original multipurpose building. Pray for special events at the school, like the sports day, to form a good basis for evangelism. Pray for better internet and phone connections in Guiuan. Pray for Gerrah to be healed after having treatment for shoulder problems resulting from her cleaning work.
Elizabeth Pfeifer (Philippines, DPG Day 11)
Praise God for opportunities to train people in the use of literacy software and programs to enable them to create these materials. Pray for Liz as she attends a meeting with Asian SIL Literacy and Multi-lingual Education Coordinators in Singapore (23-27 November).
David and Win Knight (VIC, DPG Day 16)
Pray for David as he goes with a team of 10 to Myanmar on 23 November to do some ministry and practical work at an orphanage.
