Remember: PRAYER MATTERS
Richard and Anne Hoyt (Chad, DPG Day 1)
Pray for the Evangelical Church of Chad as there is rebellion brewing from within. Pray for unity and that the rebels won’t be seduced by power, but return to following God’s will.
David and Mary Chapman (Zambia, DPG Day 3)
Praise God that the Fipuya Training Farm is operating really well with over 200 local farmers being taught about organic farming at a field day. The Chingola Agricultural Show was also a huge success for Fipuya. Pray for a greenhouse to be built soon so that they can grow strawberries, lettuce, broccoli and cauliflower throughout the year. Praise God that the first two women’s ministry training groups have begun, and ladies are learning sewing, tailoring, home gardening and farming. Pray that many families’ futures will be transformed as a result. Pray for Living Hope Zambia’s container ministry as the containers, once emptied of goods, will be converted to mother and child units for antenatal and postnatal checks, as well as providing a safe environment for deliveries in a maternity clinic.
Gavin and Janet Petersen (Portugal, DPG Day 4)
Pray for those grieving from lives lost as a result of the fires. Pray that ongoing fires will be contained. Pray for the safety and protection of Gavin and Janet, and the people living in fire-ravaged areas.
Steve and Roslyn Baird (Philippines, DPG Day 9)
Pray for Jairus, who is still in ICU after his heart surgery, to make a strong recovery. Pray for parents Orsie and Junjun to have God’s peace during this stressful time.
Paul and Debbie Howells (Philippines, DPG Day 10)
Pray for Jubab as he plans for an internship in Japan from May to August 2018. Praise God that he has a heart for reaching Japanese youth. Pray for him to connect more deeply with his local church in Jackson, Michigan. Pray for his ongoing Bible college studies.
David and Cherie Snellgrove (Philippines, DPG Day 11)
Praise God that a non-profit organisation will be partnering with Safe Haven top facilitate grief and trauma counselling services with children and staff members at Safe Haven. Praise God that Safe Haven’s connection with Victory Katipunan Church has continued to flourish across a number of ministries.
Phill and Annelise Brewster (Australia, DPG Day 13)
Pray for Phill and Annelise as they plan a big trip to the Kimberleys for three funerals. Pray that the arrangements will fall into place and pray for safe travel.
