Richard and Anne Hoyt (Chad, DPG Day 1)
Pray urgently for Lydia who has lost much blood and is unconscious, and she urgently needs a gynaecologist. Pray for her medical management, healing and strength, and for a favourable ruling in her custody case for her children.


Gavin and Janet Petersen (Brazil → Portugal, DPG Day 4)
Pray for them as they leave on Thursday for Leiria, Portugal via Brazil (where they’ll spend September). Pray for the weekly School of the Prophets class in Curitiba, Brazil. Pray for the current evangelistic Bible studies in Portugal, and for the GBU (University Bible Group) that is about to start as universities return after summer recess. Pray for Gavin and Janet’s son Josiah who is passing through a health crisis in Toowoomba. Pray for his recovery and wisdom in managing his condition.


Byron and Lyn Johannesen (Colombia, DPG Day 4)
Pray for Byron and Olmey as they tackle differences of opinion within the assembly leadership. Pray for James Rivera, the brother of a believer, who had a stroke on Saturday. He is not improving. He is only 48 and not a believer. Pray for both his salvation and for his recovery.


Ian and Leann Buckley (Nepal, DPG Day 9)
Praise God for their six-month student visas. Pray for them to drive safely to and from her Nepali culture course. Pray for Ian and Rajan as they continue the back-translation work on the God Has Spoken book. Pray for a suitable publisher in Nepal. Praise God for a suitable venue in Dhulikhel for the proposed coffee shop that Transform the Nations wants to open soon. Pray that Ian and Leann and Rajan and Binnish can find suitable rental accommodation in Dhulikhel.


Paul and Gerrah Kulikovsky (Philippines, DPG Day 10)
Congratulations to Sheena on her wedding — may the Lord bless her marriage. Pray for Paul as he returns to Guiuan on 13 September, and as he speaks at the Guiuan church’s 20th anniversary on 17 September. Pray for Paul as he oversees maintenance and teaches different subjects. Praise God for 113 children enrolled at Grace Christian School. Pray for smooth renovations to the administration block.


Bill and Nicoletta Quinert (Italy, DPG Day 14)
Pray for the growth of the Kurdish Church and the strengthening and protection of believers. Pray for Bill as he witnesses to refugees in Rome, and as he encourages African believers also.


David and Win Knight (VIC, DPG Day 15)
Praise God that the OAC Romania building was completed enough for limited use by campers. Praise God for the largest number of young campers ever. Pray for the transforming power of the gospel in the young people’s lives. Pray for the timely completion of the camp building.


Wendy Strachan (Specialist, DPG Day 22)
Praise God for a good number of applications for the 2018 Leadership Experience. Pray for wisdom in selection, funding, sponsorship, visas and logistics. Pray for those writing curriculum modules. Pray for Becky Swamickan as she does the layout of the manual on Ministry Amongst Children with Disabilities that Wendy has edited. Pray for the SU Global Assembly later in the year. Pray for Wendy as she prepares electives and devotions, amongst other tasks in her busy schedule. Pray for Wendy as she visits missionaries and participates in a Member Care conference in Melbourne (31 August – 8 September). Pray for her as she prepares to speak at a women’s convention at Mt Tamborine (20–22 October). Pray that Wendy’s mum will remain well, especially while she’s away from Brisbane.
