Remember: PRAYER MATTERS
Fiona Thomas (Cambodia, DPG Day 7)
Pray for Fiona as she serves more in her local church in Siem Reap. She also enjoys an online Bible study course. Pray that she will manage her time well and use her God-given gifts at the babycare and church and wherever else God may call her. Pray for the Cambodian babycare staff, that they will continue to step up and handle the responsibility well.
David and Cherie Snellgrove (Philippines, DPG Day 11)
Praise God that no one was harmed when David and Cherie’s residence was broken into early last Thursday morning. Some items were stolen — pray for their recovery. Pray for Elsie and Edmar, Ash and Kimilito, and Justin and Migulito. These young children are in better health since coming to Safe Haven, and are about to start TB treatment. Pray that they will continue to grow strong physically and spiritually. Pray for Jocel to find a suitable foster family. Praise God that Rose has found a loving foster family. Praise God that a number of children have been reunited with their families. Pray that they will go forward positively. Pray for David and Cherie as they are in the final stages of adopting Jessica, but the clock is ticking as she will be 18 in less than three weeks — her birthday is the deadline.
Editorial clarification: A concern has been raised that in my August Serving Together editorial it may somehow appear as if I support theistic evolution. On the contrary, the whole point of my opening column is essentially to speak AGAINST it. The main aim was to say that we do NOT need the long times of evolution — God only needed a moment to create everything, but He chose to create in six days. There is no denial of creationism at all in what I wrote. God is in control of all that He does and how much He lets us know about it.

The workers are identified by the day number in the current AMT Daily Prayer Guide.
