Remember: PRAYER MATTERS

Edward and Ruth Smith (Venezuela, DPG Day 6)
Praise God for a profitable time at the El Mene conference. Praise God for those saved in Yaracal, and pray that an assembly can be established soon. There are gospel services on Monday and Thursday, a prayer meeting on Monday, and a Sunday school on Thursday with about 80 children attending. Continue to pray for resolution of the unrest in Venezuela. Pray for safe travel for Edward and Ruth as they return to Colombia on 6 September.

Ian and Leann Buckley (Nepal, DPG Day 9)
Pray that Leann can get a student visa as their tourist visa expires in about a week. Pray that the application process will go smoothly and quickly.

Paul and Debbie Howells (Philippines, DPG Day 10)
Pray for them as they visit Australia (Perth then Brisbane) on 24 August. Praise God that the Tala Andig NT translation is nearly finished.

Daniel and Candide Weekes (France, DPG Day 14)
Praise God for such a positive response to the gospel this summer at the camps. Pray that the campers will find support (from churches, friend and, family) when they return home. Praise God for so many new campers at our Young Adult English Camp and for those who keep coming back year after year, despite not being believers. Pray that something they heard/shared this year will challenge them to turn to Christ. Praise God for the spiritual hunger of these campers. Pray for this week’s family camp, pray that families can share practical ways to grow in their faith and encourage their children to discover Jesus.

John and Kathy Harris (Netherlands, DPG Day 14)
Pray for this week’s ITeams Europe conference. Pray for safe travel for attendees. Pray for the speaker Sheridan Voysey during the conference, that the Holy Spirit will empower and strengthen him. Pray that attendees will be refreshed, encouraged and challenged. Pray for John and Kathy to have good connections with other Australian workers and the ITeams Australia director, Rod Bishop. Pray for john as he prepares to teach Christian Disciplines to the part-time students at Thousand Hills College in September. Pray that Andre and Dane will get their statuses sorted with the education authorities in order for them to receive student funding and travel concessions. Pray for them as they look for part-time work.

Trevor and Manoli Allan (Spain, DPG Day 15)
Pray for the baptisms that will be held at the end of August. Pray for the planning of church meetings and activities for next term and next year. Pray that the Agua Viva renovations can be finished soon. Pray for the purchase of a suitable building for the Ribadeo training centre and the future church building.

Christina Eglinton (Refocussed, DPG Day 28)
Pray for better management of the Child Rescue Centre, and for staff to be beyond reproach. Pray that, in the wake of the Kenyan election, there won’t be trouble and violence, but peace and stability
